Description

Buttery and tender shortbread cookies infused with sweet strawberry flavor, perfect for a delicate and fruity treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries (or fresh puree)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix in crushed strawberries and vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour and salt and mix until dough forms.
  5. Shape dough into a log or flatten and cut into shapes.
  6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.

Notes

Chilling the dough helps maintain the cookie shape. Use freeze-dried strawberries for a stronger flavor and less moisture.
