For One Pumpkin Mule:
- 2 oz vodka (Tito’s or any smooth brand)
- 1 oz pumpkin purée (unsweetened)
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup or maple syrup
- 3 oz chilled ginger beer
- ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
- Ice cubes
Optional Garnishes:
- Whipped cream (for dessert version)
- Cinnamon stick or star anise
- Lime wheel or dehydrated orange slice
- Dash of ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Step 1 – Mix the Base: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, pumpkin purée, lime juice, maple or simple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice. Shake vigorously with ice for 15–20 seconds.
- Step 2 – Build the Mule: Fill a copper mug or glass with ice. Strain the pumpkin mixture over the ice, leaving a little room at the top.
- Step 3 – Add Ginger Beer: Top off with chilled ginger beer and stir gently to combine.
- Step 4 – Garnish & Serve: Garnish with a cinnamon stick and lime wheel. For an extra treat, top with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.
