Description

A light and dreamy layered dessert with fluffy angel food cake, sweet cherries, and a creamy topping—truly heaven in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 prepared angel food cake (cubed)
  • 1 package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Additional whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Cut angel food cake into cubes.
  2. Place half of the cake cubes into a serving dish.
  3. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the cake layer.
  4. Add the remaining cake cubes on top.
  5. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and whipped topping until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the cake.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For best flavor, chill overnight. You can substitute cherry filling with blueberry or strawberry for variation.
