Description

A soft and buttery cinnamon donut loaf coated in sweet cinnamon sugar for that classic bakery-style flavor in every slice.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon (for coating)
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until combined.
  5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Brush the loaf with melted butter.
  8. Mix cinnamon and sugar, then coat the loaf evenly.
  9. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best flavor, coat the loaf while still slightly warm so the cinnamon sugar sticks perfectly.
