Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders (or sliced chicken breast)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray
  • For the Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken tenders dry. Prepare dredging station with flour + spices, beaten eggs, and panko.
  2. Bread the Tenders: Dip chicken into flour, then egg, then panko. Press breadcrumbs firmly to coat.
  3. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray basket with oil. Arrange tenders in a single layer, spray tops, and air fry 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (165°F).
  4. Make the Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add honey, garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Coat & Serve: Toss tenders in sauce or drizzle on top. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

These tenders are crispy outside, juicy inside, and pair well with rice, veggies, or fries. Sauce can be doubled for dipping.
