Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 4 large potatoes (peeled)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (optional)
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled potatoes until soft, then mash until smooth.
  2. Add butter and milk or cream to the potatoes and mix well with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and cook shrimp until pink.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, then simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Coat shrimp well in the creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Serve shrimp over mashed potatoes.
  8. Garnish with parsley, parmesan cheese, or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add parmesan cheese into the sauce or mashed potatoes. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.
