Ingredients

- Crushed mint candies (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract and mix well.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and optional crushed mint candies.
- Scoop dough onto a baking tray.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool before serving.
Notes
For a stronger mint flavor, slightly increase peppermint extract or top with extra crushed mint candies after baking.
