Ingredients
Scale
- Base
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- ½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
- Filling
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar (optional for extra gooeyness)
- 24–30 slices pepperoni
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Topping
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
- ½ tsp dried parsley or basil
Instructions
- Step 1 – Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2 – Prepare the Dough: Unroll crescent or pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Press seams together to create one large rectangle. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough.
- Step 3 – Add the Toppings: Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the sauce. Layer pepperoni slices across the dough. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Step 4 – Roll and Slice: Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 1-inch rolls using a sharp knife or dental floss for clean cuts.
- Step 5 – Arrange and Brush: Place rolls cut-side up on your baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle Parmesan and herbs on top.
- Step 6 – Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Step 7 – Serve: Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a twist, try adding cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, or mushrooms to the filling. These pizza rolls freeze well — just reheat in the oven for a quick snack!
