Description

Soft, fluffy buns filled with spiced apples and creamy cheesecake, topped with a buttery crumble and sweet glaze for the ultimate indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 apples (peeled and diced)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast, then let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, egg, butter, and salt, then knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover and let dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Cook diced apples with sugar and cinnamon until soft, then let cool.
  5. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Divide dough, flatten each piece, and add apple and cheesecake fillings.
  7. Mix flour, butter, and sugar to create crumble, then sprinkle on top.
  8. Let buns rest for 30–40 minutes for the second rise.
  9. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  10. Mix powdered sugar with milk and drizzle glaze over cooled buns.

Notes

Let buns cool slightly before glazing for the perfect finish. Best enjoyed warm for a soft and creamy texture.
