Description

Golden, crispy chicken thighs cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with fresh parsley. Juicy on the inside and irresistibly crispy on the outside, this easy oven-finished chicken recipe is packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook undisturbed for 8–10 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs over.
  6. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
  7. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the chicken skin continuously for extra flavor.
  8. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F).
  9. Bake for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 79°C (175°F) near the bone.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For the crispiest chicken skin, make sure the thighs are completely dry before seasoning. Use an oven-safe skillet to easily transfer from stovetop to oven.
