Description

- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook undisturbed for 8–10 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs over.
- Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the chicken skin continuously for extra flavor.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 79°C (175°F) near the bone.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For the crispiest chicken skin, make sure the thighs are completely dry before seasoning. Use an oven-safe skillet to easily transfer from stovetop to oven.
