Description

Des cookies inspirés du shortcake aux fraises, moelleux et riches en morceaux de fraises fraîches. Une texture tendre avec une touche gourmande et fruitée.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream, then mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped strawberries and optional add-ins.
  6. Chill the dough for 30 to 60 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  8. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Let cookies cool before serving.

Notes

Chilling the dough is key to maintaining structure due to the moisture from strawberries. Best enjoyed fresh for optimal texture and flavor.
