Description

A rich and creamy strawberry banana pudding layered with vanilla wafers, fresh bananas, juicy strawberries, and a velvety vanilla pudding filling. This easy no-bake dessert is perfect for holidays, potlucks, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafer cookies
  • 4 large bananas, sliced into rounds
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled, sliced, and patted dry

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and beat for 2 minutes until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  5. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  6. Slice the bananas and strawberries, patting the strawberries dry with paper towels.
  7. Arrange a single layer of vanilla wafer cookies in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  8. Layer all banana slices evenly over the cookies.
  9. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas, covering completely.
  10. Arrange the strawberry slices evenly over the pudding layer.
  11. Add a second layer of vanilla wafer cookies.
  12. Spread the remaining pudding mixture evenly over the cookies.
  13. Top with the remaining whipped topping and spread into an even layer.
  14. Crush a few extra vanilla wafers and sprinkle over the top along with additional strawberry slices if desired.
  15. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  16. Serve chilled.

Notes

For the best texture, allow the pudding to chill overnight so the vanilla wafers soften perfectly. Patting the strawberries dry helps prevent excess moisture from thinning the pudding layers.
