Description

A soft and savory cottage cheese bread packed with cheddar and fresh herbs—perfect for a flavorful homemade loaf.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or chives)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Whisk cottage cheese, eggs, milk, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Fold wet ingredients into the dry mixture.
  5. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and fresh herbs evenly.
  6. Grease and line a loaf pan.
  7. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  9. Allow bread to cool before slicing.
