Description

Des cookies red velvet moelleux surmontés d’un glaçage au cream cheese onctueux. Un dessert élégant, riche et irrésistible.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons natural cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red gel food coloring
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red food coloring.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Chill the dough for 30 to 60 minutes.
  7. Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheets spaced apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
  9. Let cookies cool completely.
  10. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  11. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix until creamy.
  12. Spread or pipe frosting onto cooled cookies.

Notes

Chilling the dough improves texture and prevents spreading. Always frost cookies once completely cooled to avoid melting the cream cheese frosting.
