Instructions
- Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage.
- Slice the cabbage from the core into thick 1-inch steaks, keeping the core intact to hold them together.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
- Place cabbage steaks on the baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil and minced garlic.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and any optional spices like paprika or red pepper flakes.
- Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving if desired.
