Description

A nostalgic no-bake banana split dessert layered with a buttery graham cracker crust, velvety cheesecake filling, bananas, pineapple, whipped topping, chocolate syrup, nuts, and cherries.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups (260g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20oz) crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
  • 1 tub (8oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or peanuts
  • 1 jar (10oz) maraschino cherries, drained and dried

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly moistened.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Freeze the crust for 10 minutes to set.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until thick and creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  7. Arrange banana slices in a single layer over the cream cheese filling.
  8. Spread the drained crushed pineapple evenly over the bananas.
  9. Top with the whipped topping and smooth the surface.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  12. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  13. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Drain the pineapple thoroughly to prevent excess moisture. Chilling overnight provides the best texture and flavor.
