Ingredients
Scale
- 8 beef or turkey hot dogs
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 16 candy eyes or small dots of mustard for eyes
- Optional: ketchup or mustard for serving
Instructions
- Step 1 – Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2 – Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent dough. Cut into thin strips about ¼-inch wide.
- Step 3 – Wrap the Mummies: Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, leaving a small gap near one end for the face. Tuck the ends underneath to seal.
- Step 4 – Bake: Place wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Step 5 – Add Eyes: Cool slightly, then use candy eyes or dots of mustard for the “eyes.”
- Step 6 – Serve: Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For an extra spooky touch, drizzle ketchup like ‘blood’ or serve with a side of cheese dip. Perfect for Halloween parties or kid-friendly snacks!
