Description

Des cookies marbrés au matcha avec une texture tendre et beurrée, parfaits pour une touche élégante et gourmande.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ceremonial grade matcha
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Divide dough evenly into two bowls.
  5. Sift matcha powder into one portion and mix until evenly green.
  6. Take small pieces of each dough and gently twist together.
  7. Roll into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the swirl pattern to maintain a beautiful marbled effect. Ceremonial grade matcha gives the brightest color and smoothest flavor.
