Description

A moist and juicy pineapple cake bursting with tropical flavor, perfectly soft with a light and sweet finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream or frosting (optional)
  • Pineapple slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Whisk crushed pineapple with juice, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  5. Grease and line a baking pan.
  6. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden.
  7. Allow cake to cool completely.
  8. Spread whipped cream or frosting on top and garnish with pineapple slices.

Notes

For extra tropical flavor, chill before serving and add toasted coconut on top if desired.
