- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream or frosting (optional)
- Pineapple slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk crushed pineapple with juice, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Grease and line a baking pan.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Allow cake to cool completely.
- Spread whipped cream or frosting on top and garnish with pineapple slices.
Notes
For extra tropical flavor, chill before serving and add toasted coconut on top if desired.
