Description

Juicy fresh blueberries coated in rich dark chocolate and finished with flaky sea salt for an easy frozen sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries, washed and completely dried
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao or higher)
  • 1 tbsp smooth almond butter or peanut butter (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper.
  2. Make sure the washed blueberries are completely dry.
  3. Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave the chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until smooth and melted.
  5. Fold the blueberries and optional nut butter gently into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
  6. Using a spoon, scoop small clusters of coated blueberries onto the prepared parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle the tops lightly with flaky sea salt.
  8. Place the tray in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes until the chocolate is firm and crisp.
  9. Store the clusters in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Dry blueberries are essential for the chocolate to stick properly. Store the clusters chilled for the best texture and snap.
