Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cold butter
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp salt
- 200g ham (chopped)
- 200g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt, then cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Add milk and form into a smooth dough.
- Roll the dough thin on a floured surface.
- Mix ham, cheese, and oregano for the filling.
- Cut dough into squares and place filling in the center.
- Fold and press edges firmly to seal.
- Brush tops with egg yolk.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Make sure edges are sealed היטב to prevent filling from leaking. Great for parties or lunchboxes.
