Description

Sweet, creamy coconut centers dipped in silky white chocolate and finished with a chillingly realistic bloody raspberry drizzle — a spooky, elegant Halloween treat that’s as delicious as it looks!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups shredded coconut (sweetened)
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • ⅓ cup raspberry jam or jelly
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • ½ tsp cornstarch
  • 1 drop red gel food coloring (optional)
  • 12 Hershey’s Kisses (optional, for hidden centers)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Coconut Base: In a medium bowl, combine shredded coconut, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Stir until evenly moistened — mixture should hold when pressed. Scoop into 1-inch balls. (Optional) Press a chocolate kiss in the center and seal. Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
  2. Prepare the White Chocolate Coating: Melt white chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy. Dip each chilled coconut ball using a fork, coating completely. Set on parchment paper to harden for about 15 minutes.
  3. Make the Bloody Raspberry Drizzle: In a small saucepan, heat raspberry jam, water, and cornstarch until slightly thickened. Add a drop of red food coloring for a darker, more dramatic tone. Cool slightly.
  4. Decorate: Drizzle or splatter the raspberry sauce over the coated truffles using a spoon or pastry brush for a realistic “blood spatter” effect. Chill at least 20 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve: Arrange on black platters with cobwebs or skull props for a hauntingly gorgeous Halloween presentation.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator up to 5 days. For a vegan version, use dairy-free condensed milk and vegan white chocolate. The raspberry drizzle can also be made with strawberry or cherry jam for flavor variation.
