Description

These Masterclass Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs feature juicy seasoned beef, a gooey cheddar center, and flaky golden biscuit dough brushed with a rich garlic Parmesan butter glaze. They’re the perfect bite-sized appetizer, party snack, or comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 450g lean ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 120g sharp Cheddar or American cheese, cut into 12 cubes
  • 1 pack refrigerated flaky biscuit dough (12 count) or homemade pizza dough divided into 12 portions
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 60g unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 40g Parmigiano-Reggiano, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh Italian parsley, finely minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Drain any excess grease thoroughly and allow the beef mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Flatten each portion of dough into a 4-inch circle.
  6. Place one tablespoon of the beef mixture and one cube of cheese in the center.
  7. Bring the dough edges together and pinch tightly to completely seal each ball.
  8. Arrange the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Whisk the egg with the water and brush each bomb with the egg wash.
  10. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Whisk together the melted butter, grated garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  12. Brush the hot baked bombs generously with the garlic Parmesan butter before serving.

Notes

Allow the beef filling to cool before assembling to prevent the dough from becoming soft. Seal each dough ball tightly to keep the melted cheese inside during baking. Best served warm while the cheese is perfectly gooey.
