Description

Five Flavor Frozen Banana Nice Cream is a naturally creamy frozen dessert made from ripe bananas with five delicious flavor variations including Double Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup, Strawberry Swirl, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Tropical Mango Coconut. It’s an easy, healthy treat perfect for satisfying ice cream cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large very ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen solid
  • 1–2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk (if needed)
  • Double Chocolate: 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Peanut Butter Cup: 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter, 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • Strawberry Swirl: 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Mint Chocolate Chip: 1/8 tsp peppermint extract, handful of fresh spinach, 2 tbsp cacao nibs
  • Tropical Mango Coconut: 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 2 tbsp toasted coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Peel very ripe bananas, slice them into 1-inch coins, arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and freeze for at least 2 hours until completely solid.
  2. Transfer the frozen banana slices to a high-speed food processor and pulse several times until broken into small crumbly pieces.
  3. Process continuously, scraping down the bowl as needed, until the bananas transform into a smooth, creamy soft-serve consistency. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of plant milk only if necessary to help blend.
  4. Add your chosen flavor variation and blend for about 30 seconds until fully incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips or cacao nibs at the end if desired.
  5. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or freeze for 1 to 2 hours for a firmer scoopable consistency.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas with brown spots for the sweetest flavor. Avoid adding too much liquid to keep the nice cream thick and creamy. Store leftovers in an airtight container and let them sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before scooping.
