Description

Des cookies red velvet ultra gourmands avec un Oreo caché au centre. Moelleux, légèrement cacaotés et visuellement irrésistibles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons natural cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon red gel food coloring
  • 1820 whole Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red food coloring.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  7. Chill the dough for 30 to 60 minutes.
  8. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough and flatten slightly.
  9. Place an Oreo in the center and cover with more dough.
  10. Seal edges completely to enclose the Oreo.
  11. Place cookies on baking sheets spaced apart.
  12. Bake for 11–13 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
  13. Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring.

Notes

Use natural cocoa powder for authentic red velvet flavor and color. Chilling the dough improves texture and prevents spreading.
