- 10–15 fresh dandelion roots (cleaned)
- 2 cups water
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Oat milk (optional)
Instructions
- Harvest dandelion roots from a pesticide-free area and wash thoroughly.
- Cut roots into small 1 cm pieces.
- Spread on a baking sheet and roast at 150°C for 30–40 minutes until dark brown.
- Let cool, then grind into a coarse consistency.
- Add 2 tablespoons of ground root to 2 cups of water.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- Strain into a mug and serve warm.
Notes
Ensure roots are properly cleaned before roasting. Adjust brewing time for a stronger or milder flavor.
