Description

Golden pan-seared garlic chicken wraps loaded with melted cheese, creamy garlic sauce, and wrapped in crispy toasted tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, diced into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • â…“ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely grated or minced
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, and sea salt.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  6. Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese into the center of each tortilla.
  8. Add the cooked garlic chicken over the cheese.
  9. Drizzle garlic sauce on top and add shredded lettuce if desired.
  10. Fold the tortilla sides inward and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  11. Place wraps seam-side down into a clean skillet over medium heat.
  12. Toast for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Flip and toast the other side until crispy and sealed.
  14. Cut in half and serve immediately while warm and cheesy.

Notes

Toasting the wraps seam-side down first helps seal them tightly. Freshly grated garlic gives the sauce a bold flavor that pairs perfectly with the smoky chicken.
