Instructions

- Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk.
- Fold in cooled apples gently.
- Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 18 to 22 minutes until set.
- Cool completely.
- Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, caramel, vanilla, and salt.
- Frost cooled cake and drizzle with caramel.
Notes
