Description
Homemade apple cider vinegar gummies made with gelatin or agar-agar, sweetened naturally with honey or maple syrup. A fun and tasty way to enjoy the health benefits of ACV.
Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
- ½ cup water or fruit juice (like apple or pomegranate)
- 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 ½ tbsp gelatin powder OR 3 tbsp agar-agar powder
- Optional: 1 tsp grated ginger (for extra zing)
- Optional: A pinch of cayenne (for metabolism boost)
Instructions
- Step-by-Step with Gelatin: In a saucepan, combine water/juice, ACV, lemon juice, and sweetener. Sprinkle gelatin over the liquid and let it “bloom” for 2–3 minutes. Gently heat on low, stirring until gelatin dissolves (don’t boil). Add ginger or cayenne if using. Pour mixture into silicone molds. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Step-by-Step with Agar-Agar: Mix water/juice, ACV, lemon juice, and sweetener in a saucepan. Whisk in agar-agar powder until fully dissolved. Bring mixture to a light boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Pour into molds and let cool at room temperature. Refrigerate for 30 minutes for best texture.
